This policy explains how Inspectly handles information when you use the Inspectly iPhone and iPad app. Inspectly does not require an account. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@inspectly.tech.
Information stored on your device
Inspectly lets you enter property and contact details, notes, tasks, photos, documents, inspection records, signatures, maintenance items, valuation history, expenses, settings and generated reports. This content is stored in the app's local container on your device. Inspectly's developer does not receive or have access to this content.
No tracking or analytics
Inspectly does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking technology or a developer-operated server. It does not sell personal information. Data processed only on your device is not collected by Inspectly's developer.
Apple services
Apple processes purchases and provides subscription status through StoreKit. If you choose Use Current Location, Apple's location and geocoding services help determine an address. The system photo picker, camera, Files interface and notification services operate only when you choose related features. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Permissions
Camera access is used to take property or inspection photos. Photo-library access is used to import photos you select. Location access is used only after you request help filling a property address and is not required. Notification permission is used for local task reminders. You can change permissions in the Settings app.
Exports, backups and sharing
When you export a report, attachment or backup, you choose the destination using Apple's share or Files interfaces. A recipient or storage provider you select will handle that copy under its own terms. Depending on your device settings, Apple may also include app data in a device or iCloud backup; Inspectly's developer cannot access those backups. Inspectly backup packages are not encrypted, so store and share them carefully.
Support messages
If you contact support by email, you choose what to send. Your email address, message and attachments will be handled by the email providers involved and used to answer your request, investigate issues and keep an appropriate support record. You can request deletion of a support conversation by emailing support@inspectly.tech, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain on your device until you delete them in Inspectly, restore a replacement backup or remove the app. Deleting a property removes its related local records and files. Deleting the app removes its local container, but it does not delete copies you previously exported or copies retained in a device backup. Inspectly has no online account to delete.
Security and your responsibilities
Inspectly uses Apple's app sandbox and iOS file protection for saved media and documents. No storage method is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode, keep iOS updated, review information before sharing it and keep any backup you need before deleting the app or changing devices.
Children
Inspectly is a general-purpose property utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Inspectly's features or legal obligations change. The effective date shown in the app and on this page will be updated when changes are material.
